Any idea? New KTA-MB1333S 8GB memory module causes stuck and kernel panic @ my iMac core i3, mid 2011? (Approved Apple service tells that "probably" KTA-MB1333 would work...) Help pls, thanks!

Return the RAM, purchase RAM from either Crucial (directly) or OWC at www.macsales.com. iMacs are sensitive to RAM, both of the two vendors mentioned sell high quality RAM that will work.
We tried with different type of memory modules but unfortunately no success. It seems that this computer only accepts 2GB modules - it is quite surprising. Now I try to get two other 2GB modules.

Your information is incorrect, I have advised what to do. If you want to increase the RAM capacity please follow the directions.
