Multi touch not working properly, especially Safari

I am encountering a very annoying problem on my I Mac

First of all the 4 finger gesture for seeing all open windows does not work or only with a delay of around 20min.

Then as soon as I try to go back one page in Safari all gestures stop in Safari.
No scrolling up or down, back and forth etc.

Only thing that works is two finger push -> right mouse button.

In Safari the screen also tilts to the right and everything is shifted visually but not to hit buttons or links.

Just like in this thread:

multi-touch gesture in new Safari

Deleting the Safari Cache File did not help.

Deleting the website files in preferences, security did not help.

Restarts of Safari only help until I try to go back a page, then same story.
Restart of I Mac did not help.

Anybody got an idea on this?

I don't see anything obvious. Please re-open System Preferences - Mouse and verify if the settings are to your preferences. If they are and it's still not functioning correctly then create a new user account (call it TEST ACCOUNT) and check to log into that account. If the mouse works as it should then you know it is a problem with your normal user account and nothing system wide. Post back after trying these two steps.
