I need to correct my post

If it is the first post in a thread check the "Actions" button in the top right to see if the Edit shows up there (if it isn't showing up at the bottom of your post). If it is not either place, then the post probably has exceeded the time threshold for editing a post.

The time you have to edit is 15 minutes. Better to just post a reply to your own question with the new/changed information.

IF you are referring to this threadServer HD is filling up then you have exceeded the edit time. Just post a reply to your own post to indicate the correction.

Since you've asked a question here and received replies, you may receive a link to a survey by email in the next few days. You can fill out that survey and let them know you'd like a long edit window. Also, every once in a while, there's a yellow banner at the top of the forums' homepage asking users to share their experience; that is another opportunity for you to tell them.
