The message app on my 5s (iOS 8.3) is slow to load up and display a selected conversation. Once the conversation is loaded the content take upwards of 30 secs to display and in that time I can't start a new text.
Anyone come across this before and know of a fix?

Had same issue with iPhone 4s. You will certainly get rid of the problem by upgrading to iPhone 6 and set it up as a new phone, do NOT restore your new iPhone from the iPhone 5s backup as you will re-introduce the bug (it happen to me several times.) You may also try this...wipe all content and data from your phone 5s and set it up as a brand new phone. I solved the problem using the former method, I did not try the later. Make sure any data you need e.g. contacts, documents, and photos from the iPhone 5s are saved in your iCloud account BEFORE you erase anything. Good luck!
