how to fix factory reset iphone 5c

well hello there. one day I was going to make a call to someone, but I cant make the call. so I look at my phone and I see it say "searching..." on the left hand corner on my iphone 5c. so I waited, waited, and waited. till I got tired of it. I turn off my phone and took out the chip then put it back in, turn it back on then it still say "searching....." so I took it in to the company to try help me out. they say I need to factory rest. so we did. now it wont update or rest the phone. right now its stuck on itune icon and a plug sign on my phone. every time I try to restore or rest my lap to keep say "the iphone 'iphone' could not be restore. an unknown error occurred (-1)." that's keep what it say on my laptop and my other computer!!!!! so please help! thank you ToT
