Zoom mac screen using apple tv

In our classroom we use Apple TV to project our Mac computer monitors. However, when we zoom in on the Mac, that doesn't translate to a "zoom" through Apple TV.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated as it is often difficult for the students to SEE what I'm trying to explain ... especially with Adobe's notoriously small windows! 😟
