Can't open some websites from mac (Yosemite 10.10.3)

Hi!

Since upgrading to the latest version of iOS I have had some problems loading some websites.

Doesn't mater if I use Safari (8.0.6), Chrome or Firefox, always the same problem. Some websites take forever to load while other sites work perfect.

iOS is for mobile devices. Has nothing to do w/OS for computers getting on the web.

How are you connected? Wireless? Ethernet? Magsafe?

Please detail ALL you have done so far in the way of troubleshooting? Need this info to avoid the been there done that scenarios.

Try the basics first:

Change your router channel number. Most times this works & is all you have to do.

Disconnect & reconnect your modem. unplug it for about 10 seconds. Plug it back in. Do the same for Apple’s routers. Wait for everything to reboot.

System Preferences>Network

Click the Assist Me button.

In the next window that pops up, click the Diagnostic button & do the necessary. Report back the results.

Research Knowledge Base for network problems that pertain to the OS that is currently installed on your computer. See these basic networking KB Articles: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1401 AirPort troubleshooting guide

Also, run the Airport Utility app which is located inside the Utilities folder.

If using a Linksys router, contact LinkSys Customer Support and/or post in their forums.

If using Apple's Airport, please re-post over in one of the AirPort Forums.

I'm using the ASUS RT-N56U router and saw that others have had the same problem

If that's the case, have you contacted ASUS for assistance?

Have you tried all the suggestions from the links I posted previously? Tried the suggestions in the link that Eric Root posted?

If you connect through ethernet and/or Magsafe does the same problem occur?
