Reminders - how to adjust the notification types I receive

I share my reminders with my partner however every time I add a new reminder she receives an email.

While sharing the reminders is a great feature the volume of emails has become an annoyance. I have tried to look for the options page to turn off email notifications with no success.

Is there a procedure or link to be able to switch off the email reminders?
