Two phone numbers ring on watch

My wife and I share an Apple ID (and have for years). My iPhone is paired to my watch while hers is not. Yet when her phone receives a call my watch rings. I'm not receiving her texts or notices, just phone calls. I've turned off the FaceTime setting to allow iPhone cellular calls, turned off Handoff on all devices (we never used it anyway) and the problem persists. I'm sure it's a setting I'm missing somewhere but I can't find it. Anyone else have/solve this issue?

I turned that feature off on both my wife's and my iPhone. When I got home tonight I turned it on and then back off again on both devices and that seems to have fixed the problem. I'm not sure why it didn't work the first time. Hmmm.

Did you turn that setting off on her device as well? It wasn't real clear in your post. If it is turned off on both devices, then it should not ring.
