Hello
Due you mean turn off contact groups?
From Contacts > "Groups" (at the upper left)
Deselect the groups you don't want to view.
Hello Damaag,
Thanks for that information, when I tap on the groups, I get offered Icloud and another e mail account, I remove I cloud which leaves me 34 contacts ( all people I have spoken to recently) my problem is i have approximately 1100 contacts and with this 'issue' I now have 2300 contacts.
Apart from forgetting all about it, these extra addresses appear to take up about 2.2GB of space, so now i'm getting a bit stuffed (an English expression) for available space.
Any thoughts?
From Email accounts you can turn those off separately.
Setting > Mail Contacts Calendars
Tap on each account you don't want contacts from.
Turn off contacts
Evening Damaag,
I have tried that approach, but it remains the same situation, what I have noticed is all of the e mail addresses are pre fixed Facetime.
Does that have any relevance?
So what group are these contacts coming from? The ones with the prefix of "FaceTime".
Turn that group off or you will have to edit them.
Good evening Damaag,
I have a sneaking suspicion that there's a conflict when you use windows I cloud and the Icloud on the telephone, I'll let you know how I get on.
