Just trying to get some opinions. I have a limited time to purchase either a Best Buy or AppleCare protection plan, and I'm wondering if I should. I can't imagine how I could break the thunderbolt display, so I think getting a protection plan would just be playing it safe.

yes get a plan. The display while reliable can have issues with the LCD and heat issues. It is very expensive to repair. Mine went out and luckily I had the Apple care that covered the cost. Without the plan it would have been > $500.00 to repair.
