My video editing applications suddenly stopped opening

After I did an update in my Creative Cloud, applications such as Premiere Pro CC (2014), Photoshop CC (2015), Final Cut 7 and After Effects start opening very randomly. I would say 1 in 20 tries they will actually start up properly. I did recently get a second SSD installed in my computer, but they worked fine for the first couple months. Not sure if that could be the root of the problem, but I really can't figure out what it is.
