May 26, 2015 12:25 PM in response to psanghaby Glenn Leblanc,The libraries are hard linked together and photos are not actually duplicated. It isn't using any additional HD space. So, I wouldn't delete it until you are absolutely sure you are satisfied with Photos and it is working ok.
You still have iPhotos in your application folder and can still use it if you have the latest version 9.6.1. Once the library was migrated, changes made to either application won't be reflected in the other application.

May 26, 2015 2:25 PM in response to psanghaby LarryHN,You can delete the iPhoto library but it will save very little space and will make going back to iPhoto for any reason extremely difficult - little benefit and lots of potential downside so I would not do it for at least a month or more
