Out of warranty replacement for iPhone 4 in 2015?

Hi all,

My trust iphone 4 is starting to give me troubles with the home button. It takes a 4-5 presses before it respond. I feel that it is likely a hardware issue. I don't want to go into a contact with AT&T and thus can not get a cheaper phone from them. What are the out of warranty options looking like in 2015? Will Apple attempt to fix this for me or will I have to get a newer model?

I'd go into an Apple Store, but I live in a remote area where one is far. Any thoughts or experience will be greatly appreciated.

an Apple Retail store genius bar will probably offer an Out of warranty exchange device for $149 + tax .I would be surprised if they do not have a supply of iPhone 4

The UK Apple stores certainly do

Apple will provide an out of warranty replacement for an iPhone if one of similar specs can be found.

Cost is $149.00 dollars in the U.S. It may be different in other countries.

iPhone 6 Plus: $329

iPhone 6: $299

iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5: $269

iPhone 4s: $199

iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, Original iPhone: $149

They still have factory refurbished replacement units for the 3GS around here, so I'm sure you can get a 4 still. You can use the web site to arrange to do the exchange by shipment if there is no store within traveling distance.
