2006 Intel Based iMac Boot Camp Driver Fail

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my 2006 Intel based iMac, not knowing that there weren't any support drivers for my model [2006 Intel Based 19" iMac]. The main problem is that I can't get into OS X (10.7.5, I think), because I don't have an apple USB keyboard to access the boot menu (using the 'option' key) or the drivers to choose startup disk. Anyone have a fix for this, so I can boot into OS X?

Hey awsomeDixie,

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, you booted to Windows using BootCamp and need to boot back to OS X. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

How to choose a startup disk on your Mac - Apple Support

If you have started up your Mac in Windows using Boot Camp, you can use the Boot Camp system tray to switch your startup disk default back to OS X.

  1. In Windows, click the Boot Camp icon in the system tray.
  2. From the menu that appears, choose Restart in OS X.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Have a good one,
