That sounds like a really cool business. If you would like to wireless connect your MacBook Pro to an HDTV, then what you want to do is have an Apple TV plugged into the TV. The feature you are looking for is AirPlay and as long as both the MacBook Pro and Apple TV is connected to the same wireless network then it will be able to either extend the desktop or mirror it.
