transferring from older Mac to New mac
My transfer from an older Macbook Pro to a newer acquisition is stuck at one minute remaining for more than 5 hours. What do I need to do next?

Did you use the migration assistance application?
If you go in the finder and then in the utilities folder, you'll find this app.
I have rebooted my computer this weekend and I've used this application, it's really easy. You can transfer all folders/applications/programs you want.
As far as i'm concerned, I transferred a big part of my documents, all the application that I had download and all my music and it took 8 minutes to transfer from my backup hardware from my macbook pro.
I advice you to try it.
So to find it, like i said, you go to the finder then application and then there is the migration assistance app. It will guide you all along the process so it's very easy to use.
