Q: Multiple Apple ID's

I've apparently got 2 Apple ID's.  I don't know which one to use with my new iPhone.  I'm concerned I'm not synching complete content with my Mac (been a long time w/o an iPhone).  Is there a way to delete one & how o I determine which one to delete?
