My iPad keeps shutting down when tilted

My iPad keeps switching off when tilted. Very annoying..

iPad, iOS 8.3, Firmware 8.01.00

If your iPad shuts down unexpectedly when it is tilted, a very distressing situation to be sure, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -


If your iOS device restarts, displays the Apple logo, or powers off while you're using it - Apple Support
