Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

One of my USB ports does not appear to be functioning.

How can I tell if it is alive? When I plug devices like my cell phone, printer or iPad in, it does not recognize the device. I move the port next to it and it works.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)
