lost audiobooks on iTunes
When I updated iTunes I lost my Audio books. They are not on 12.1.2.27.

You are running beta version of iTunes. Please read the release notes that came with that build, especially those about changes to iBooks.

I have iTunes 12.1.2.27 on my Mac so it is not a beta
Is other media still in your iTunes library?

Where did the audio books come from?
Do you have a computer file backup?
Other media, Movies and Music, are still in the folder. I am sure I got the books from iTunes but cannot find the past purchases. Have Time Machine on but the backup does not go back far enough I guess. Benn having many issues since I purchased the Mac Mini. Running OS10.10.3. All else seems to be ok at this time. Updated iTunes when I got the message from App Sore. Used the audio books just before the update, on my iPod. Any thing else you ned to know?

If you made a backup of these items on your Mac or PC, you can sync the items to your iOS device. You can't download these items again from iTunes in the Cloud.
