Epson Stylus Photo R220 Won't Print Onto CDs.
Basically I can design a CD/DVD picture with Epson Print CD but when I press Print an error message appears saying ‘The EPSON printer driver dealing with CD printing is not installed’.
I installed everything on the Installation CD using the Easy Install option and worked my way through all of it.
So why is the Print CD driver not installed and what can I do to install it?
Every other function of the printer works well.
Epson told me to do the following but I have had no success:-
1. Close any applications that are currently open.
2. Go to your HDD > APPLICATIONS > UTITILIES > PRINTER SETUP UTILITY.
A box will appear, go to the Printer Setup Utility menu and select "reset printing service" (WARNING : this will delete all printers out of the list). Once that has been done, add the printer using the EPSON USB Connection and set the page setup to all, if the option is available.
Once it has been added please open up EPSON Print CD again and attempt to print.
Failing that please try the following procedure to resolve your issue with Print CD:
Please go into the hard drive and select User folder > User’s Home > Library > Preferences. Delete the EPC Preference file and reboot the computer.
Once restarted please empty the trash and attempt to use the product again.
As I said, it's still not working, so does anyone know what can be done?
