iPod 5 isn't turning on nor responding to anything

I used my iPod 5 earlier today and it worked perfectly fine. An hour later I go back and it won't turn on. I tried putting it on a charger, nothing happens and the screen stays black, so it's not battery. I've tried holding the lock button + the volume up/down buttons, nothing happens and the screen stays black. I can't do anything with the home button, since it's broken. I've tried plugging it into two different computers, nothing happens, the screen remains black, and neither computers detect the iPod. What can I do?

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
