Hello
I have bought an iPhone 5s 1,5 years ago in the states. I also purchased apple care plus, because I was told by an apple employee that the protection plan will work in Germany.
Now I’m back in Germany and my phone is broken. Apple Support Germany told me that they cannot help me with this particular case.
How is it possible to go thru the process and get my phone repaired?

AppleCare is only valid in the country in which the iPhone was originally purchased.
Thanks for the answer. Does that mean, I need to go back to USA to get my phone repaired?
Or is it possible to send it in? The homepage says, the apple care plus is a world wide support. If I understand that right, the protection plan with all advertised properties should also work in Germany?!
Apple Stores will not accept devices sent to them, neither will Apple repair depots. You will have to either return to the US or send it to someone you know there and have them take it in.
Is apple care plus with an iPhone 5s (USA Model) valid in Germany?
