Is Macbook Pro 13 Non-Retina okay for Architecture?

I ordered Macbook Pro 13 Non-Retina because it's cheaper than the Retina one. I'm taking Architecture in college and i'm a freshman. Do you think my choice to buy this macbook was right? Is the non-retina macbook still worth it? Can I run autocad with it and other softwares for Architecture?

You really should contact the school you will be attending and ask them what applications will be used and the hardware requirements. If you find that the MBP that you ordered is marginal or not suitable, you can take advantage of the 14 day no questions asked return policy (IF YOU ORDERED FROM APPLE, NOT A RESELLER).
