iphone 5G 32 GIG LTE wifi greyed out since updating to IOS 8.

was fine on IOS 7. Waited for ios 8.3 which seemed to have fixed a few of my buddy's phones who experienced the same prob. but not mine. Must i wait for next update or book in for repairs. Don't mind the wait but need to know that this is being looked at. Just don't see the point in having to pay for a repair if the prob. is software. Please help.
