My ipod doesn't turn on. I has been plugged in since yesterday and It still doesn't do anything. Nothing is responding. It is fairely new aswell. It was bought back in december. The Ipod 5 that I own didn't experience any type of damage. I checked the cord anc it is working just fine. I don't know what to do It is completely shut down and won't answer.

A forced restart may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
