Recently upgrade to 16 megs of system memory with two 8meg DIMMs in slots bank 0 DIMM 0 and Bank 1 DIMM 0, machine is lightening fast and very responsive. However after long periods in sleep mode, hitting the keyboard or mouse (wireless) computer won't wake up have to do a hard reset using the power button. Have reset both the SMC and PRAM?
Any ideas..

Reset the SMC and PRAM 2-3 times, sometimes just a single reset doesn't not finish the job. Remove the new RAM and run with the original and see if the problem persists. Please post the results.

Booted in safe mode once, reset SMC a second time, ran disk util file verify and repair... just because. Also unchecked all setting in the energy preference computer never sleeps and screen saver set to 30 minutes. Did notice a display update group meeting during the file permission repair routine.
Time will tell at this point.
FYI More of an update, even though the screen saver is set to 30 minutes, it appears to use two minutes as I'm sitting watching and timing.
