rename files to its path name

Hi,

I am trying to create an apple script for changing the names of files in my official database to its path name+filename+filename extention.

However some of them has lengthy names were it is not permissible for more than 255 characters, in that case i need the script to skip that and continue to the rest of the files and it can continue running the script without any interruption.

And the timed out error can be for 5 mins.

*Like the Name of the Files of selected folder and sub folders to be changed to its path name.

*If the name exceeds 255 or maximum character limit for file name that file can be skipped and run for the rest continuously without stopping for error.

Can you please help me on it.

Kind Regards, VK
