EEvery time I try to open iMessage it just goes right back to my home screen

IIt appears this is happening to hundreds of people. Please respond.
So there is a work around for this at the moment. What you want to do is from the photo application send a picture (it can be blank) to the contact that sent yo the message that says power. This should resolve it. If not you may have to do a back up and restore from a backup before you received the message.

Have the person that sent you the power txt message txt you a one word txt open it then delete that POWER txt individually. that should resolve the issue!!!!!!
