May 27, 2015 7:11 AM in response to mickers1by Ralph9430,If "Dan's iPhone" is your phone then the message may legit. But if it is not your phone you can protect yourself by changing your Apple ID password.

May 27, 2015 11:02 AM in response to apple_help007by Michael Black,The link Apple would have supplied would have been for applied.apple.com
All of the automated messages I've ever received because of enabling/disabling find my iPhone or adding a new device to my iCloud account and so on, have always indicated they were automated messages so do not reply, the were always signed "Apple Customer Support".
Regardless, its a good habit to get into to simply NEVER click on any link in any email. Instead, open your browser and go directly to the web site you need (note, that is not at all necessarily the one indicated in the email - think first, and then go to the site you know about to verify your account or information, don't just assume you want or need to go to the site indicated). Anything to do with checking your credentials or changing your password with Apple will be appleid.apple.com.

May 27, 2015 11:06 AM in response to apple_help007by Phil0124,As has been said it is not a real Apple Email. The URL it directs you to does not belong to Apple, and further more, is not even functional.
@mickers1
Ignore the mail.

Jun 12, 2015 2:25 PM in response to mickers1by moll132,I got the same exact message today. Talked to apple support and forwarded them a screenshot and they said it was real. However, it is weird that we both got the exact same message.....

Jun 12, 2015 2:30 PM in response to moll132by ChrisJ4203,The domain iCloud-imessage.com is not a valid domain, especially not from Apple.

Jun 12, 2015 3:09 PM in response to moll132by moll132,Actually my URL was slightly different... http://imessage-appleid.com/info/us/page?token=e5fd12dd-7
Not sure why Apple Support told me it was legitimate. Seems like they should be able to eliminate spam right away.

Jun 12, 2015 3:14 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by moll132,Still seems like a sketchy domain though. And we had the exact same message; unless Dan is a busy guy hacking everyone's phones, I still think it's most likely spam.
