Downsampling?

Hi. I have some voice and old legacy music recordings that are sampled at 320 kbps. That's silly. I'd like to save some disk space by reducing that. I can't find a way to do it in iTunes. If there isn't one, are there 3rd-party solutions? Thanks!

iTunes 12 for Mac: Save a copy of a song in a new file format - http://support.apple.com/kb/PH19509 - make sure you aren't in fullscreen mode - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6777547

Note that converting to any lossy format will involve reduction in quality, even if converting from an oversampled higher quality. Just listen to your results and check you're happy.
