Wondering if there is a short cut for sending text when using the voice to text feature on iPhone 6? rather than having to push the send button-so it works a more of a "hands free" feature.

If you mean in the Messages app, yes. Say "Send" (but Siri should be prompting you for that).
I must be doing something wrong cause when I say send...it just types it as part of the text. just cause I want to make sure I am clear (I am not sure of the correct terms, so images help me!) this is what I am using and struggling with. Thanks
Are you initiating the text message through Siri? ("Siri - send a text message"). Otherwise you are basically just using dictation, which will not recognize a "send" voice command.
