Wish list does not work in iTunes radio

I use iTunes radio a lot and would like to add songs to my "wish list" when I here a song I really like. I am logged into my iTunes account and using iTunes 12.1.2, and when I choose "add to iTunes wish list", the song does not appear there. Only a message that says "I don't have any songs in my wish list". Does anyone else have this issue or there a simple fix that I am overlooking?
