Clicking on Safari opens Applications folder!

When i click onto Safari on the Dock, the Applications folder opens with Safari highlighted. I then have to double click the Safari in the Applications folder to open. I don't notice any other icon thats affected.

Any suggestions to rectify would be appreciated.

Thx

Click and hold the Dock alias while holding down the command key and drag it away from the Dock until you see a puff of smoke. Go to the Applications folder and drag Safari back to the Dock to create a new alias.

I type too slow. 😝
