May 27, 2015 11:56 AM in response to ChrisJ4203by helenaat,Thanks, Chris, but I don't ever get the pairing animation on my watch, and I can't pair it manually because the name of the watch doesn't appear on the iPhone list (in the watch app). I had previously paired it with no problem and used it for a couple weeks. It got hung up this morning so I unpaired, thinking I'd start over, but there's no apparent way to re-pair it.
Thanks.

May 27, 2015 11:58 AM in response to helenaatby ChrisJ4203,I'm not as familiar with the Apple Watch, since I do not have one, however, I know that you can do a reset on the device holding both buttons, or you can restore the device and start over. I know the information is in the User Guide for doing that.

May 27, 2015 2:01 PM in response to ChrisJ4203by helenaat,★HelpfulI figured it out! I reset the watch (started from scratch) -- settings, general, reset -- then paired it with my iPhone using the backup that had been created when I unpaired it. Easy peasy. Only thing I had to re-do was to re-add my credit card for Apple Pay (which makes sense).

May 27, 2015 2:23 PM in response to helenaatby Dah•veed,I didn't see that call to assist until you had discovered what had to be done.
I also found that once you unpair the watch, you must erase the watch and start over from scratch. And if you had set up Pay, you need to add the bank cards again!
Fortunately most everything is actually stored on your paired iPhone. And photos or music stored on the watch are downloadable again from either the phone or iCloud.
