I changed language setting from english to French, then back to english, but It is still typing in French. How do i get my iPad to type in english?

Change the keyboard? I'm not sure, since you do not indicate where and what exact changes you made. Are you referring to regional change, keyboard change?
Hi, I made the change in Sethings, General, Language & Region, iPad Language. And now when I try to write something here, Facebook, etc, I have to keep correcting my typing to English, as it tries to autocorrect to French.
Keyboard input language (which controls autocorrect) and Display language are different things.
If the keyboard is set to french, tap and hold on the Globe icon next to the space bar to bring up the language choices. Choose english instead of french.
If there is no globe icon, or no english option, go to Settings->General->Keyboard->Keyboards->Add Keyboard->and select an english keyboard.
After that the Globe key will have the selected language choices.
Thank you Phil for your help. I found where to change the keyboard, and was also able to find an instructional to delete the French keyboard so I don't switch between them again accidentally.
