Q: Is my iPad too old for AirPlay? I bought it new in 2012 or 13 (the "new iPad?"). Apple TV works great with my iPhone 6 plus

May 27, 2015 2:28 PMby Briansyddall,Hi Just had a look in control panel mirroring should com on when you have Apple TV turned on Click on Air play then press green button then mirroring should come on tv You should be ok with ipad2/3 Check that Air play is set to on in your settings on Apple tv. May 29, 2015 8:04 PMby barberg12,you go to airplay settings on your apple tv. then, make sure airplay is turned on. your ipad must have bluetooth and wifi turn on (to the same wifi network) . then go to the control center and airplay should be next to airdrop then select your apple tv and turn on mirroring (if needed)
