The keypad on my Mac air is not working . I have tried restarting in repair mode but still nothing . It's a 2011 11''

Hi I have a applemac air 11'' it has been left with a flat battery for a couple of months now it won't recognise the keypad or the mouse , I tried the restart option but still nothing . Any ideas ?
