iphone breaking too much

hello. i have an iphone 5c . i havent had it for a year yet. but it has either cracked, screen went black, or both. i have gotten fixed by Apple when it has happened. it happened again a month ago. at first it cracked it was perfectly fine. two weeks later, the screen went black. well actually had lines going vertically across it. Last time i got it fixed by apple was in january. i dont have apple care or anything like that. so my question is what do i do?😐
