researcing by mac

hi everybody,

i am new with my iMac and macbook pro. for my researches i was using my pc windows based and OneNote from office for:

copy any text from any website and transfer to onenote for filing and organising as well as searching by words, etc.

although OneNote online is free available for mac but the features is different with limitation rather than OneNote-pc as i mentioned. with OneNote online for mc you can just shot a webpage and transfer to the page but not as text for editing or searching!

now my question is what is the best way/app/programme on mac to cover this need i mentioned above?
