I understand that you are trying to watch a movie that was purchased some time ago on your iPad, but are unable to because of an error that says the content in not authorized.
The first suggestion I have in this situation is to make sure the iPad is signed in to the same Apple ID that purchased the movie from iTunes. The following article explains how to view the Apple ID for iTunes & App Store.

If you are signed into the same Apple ID and are still receiving the same alert, my next suggestion would be to force restart your iPad using the instructions provided in the next attached article.
