Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I'm attempting to copy an event (rather large) to a new library.
So, far so good, then I get this message:
The transfer does NOT take place. And, I can't find the "Backups" file. (Which seems to be distinct from a Fcp backup.
iMac (27-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), 32GB RAM 3.4Ghz i7 FCPX 10.2.1
Are you sure you have enough free space on the drive containing that library?
Does the project (s) in this event use media from other events?

Yes, sir. I'm sending it to a nearly empty 1TB HD. And the event I'm trying to transfer isn't nearly that large. (Plenty of headroom. Not approaching the recommended 20% free space.)
No, sir. I've consolidated all files in the event, and in the one project in that event.
Try creating a new event in that same library. Import a clip or two. Create a test project, See whether you can move it to the destination library.

In the meantime, I've executed a circuitous work-around. (Client waiting.)
