Macbook pro performance under bootcamp windows 8.1

Hi!

Today I installed Windows 8.1 on my mid 2012 15 inch non retina Macbook Pro, I did this in order to play Skyrim. After installing the bootcamp update 5.1.5621, I downloaded steam and Skyrim and tried to play the game. The game however, stutters incredibly, even in the menus, even with all the settings turned down to the lowest. From what information I gathered I should be able to play it on my machine.. I also tried playing a game I had already played through wine on my normal OS, which also didn't work through bootcamp.. Is there something I missed, or do I need to update something? The drivers in the Nvidea GeForce 650M are up to date according to the device managed tab in windows. Looking forward to your answer 🙂.
