Is there any hope of running Witcher 1 and/or 2 on my macbook pro mid 2010?

I have a mid 2010 macbook pro which I run bootcamp win 8.1 pro (I think) on.

2.66 Ghz i7

4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MB

I've played Skyrim, and Assassin's Creed series up to Revelations on it with success. I think Skyrim, ACRev and Witcher 2 all came out in 2012, but that's not exactly scientific. Steam min specs are:

  • OS: Windows XP/Vista/7
  • Processor: Intel 2.2 GHz Dual-Core or AMD 2.5 GHz Dual-Core
  • Memory: 1.5 GB (Win XP), 2GB (Win Vista/Win 7)
  • Graphics: GeForce 8800 (512 MB) or Radeon HD3850 (512 MB). Resolution: 1280x720.
  • DirectX®: DirectX 9.29 has to be installed.

Since these games came out so long ago, and I plan on playing them in bed on my laptop (close enough to not have to wear my low prescription glasses), I'm not looking for a visual masterpiece. I plan on buying witcher 3 at some point on a new system of some kind (still holding out for a new 15" macbook), and I'm just playing for backstory so I can make my own judgements on who I side with/love etc.

Essentially, is it possible to run a smooth but not necessarily beautiful Witcher 1 and/or 2 on my macbook pro? Thanks.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10), mid 2010 15" Nvidia GeForce 330
