Yahoo messenger app is not available on Iphone AppStore

even i faced the same problem. If you done back up recently or over a months ago then the YM app will be in your iTunes App. Connect iPhone to PC and open iTunes and navigate to Apps tab and check it. You may find.

That what I did, even I couldn't find in App Store. I installed through iTunes.

Yahoo pulled the app from the App Store. They have plans to release an all new messenger by the end of Q2 2015. So it should be released fairly soon!

This solution only works if you once had Yahoo Messenger on your iPhone. Access it from your cloud by going to the App Store and choosing updates. Click on purchased at the top of the list and you should see a list of apps that you have purchased. Scroll down until you find Yahoo Messenger and click it to reload to your phone. I found this solution by accident. Have searched the web for an answer and didn't find anything. Hope this helps. Not sure how much longer it will work since it is being phased out. I have an iPhone 4s so hoping this works for you too.

Well, Yahoo Messenger is gone.... bad decision, yahoo. I don't care for your new LiveText, or whatever. I can't access my old Yahoo messenger friends list, and guess what??? That's where all of the people I would like to "live text" with are at.....

There are two "replacement" apps for Yahoo Messenger in the App Store, and they are both garbage right now. One doesn't allow log in (Beehive IM, 508 one star reviews, out of 508 reviews) keeps crashing etc.... The other, "Ya Messenger" or some thing like that, is clunky, the key board takes up 2/3 of the screen on my 6+ and, when someone replies to you, it gets repeated at least 10 times, and when they reply again, their first reply is re-displayed and their 2nd reply repeats several times. Yahoo made a stupid mistake. Someone needs to release a decent Yahoo chat client.

Yeay it worked for me. Thanks! I redownloaded from iCloud and reinstall it after crashing a few times previously. When I deleted it the first time and to my horror the App was gone from app store, very bad.. I thought I would loose it forever. The replacement apps didnt work for me, and I feel a bit suspicious giving out my yahoo password to a 3rd party. I'm an iPhone 6 user and it still works.
