Effective Powe text crashed my iphone

Today I was at school and some people started sending me this text that reboots your iphone, so I put it in my pocket and when I checked it back i realized that it didn't go farther than the apple logo, right now I'm trying to restore it, but if someone could help me to find another way to do it, would be very nice, I also tried putting it on safe mode but it didn't work, it just shows the lock screen and then goes back to the apple logo! I will be so grateful to the one that helps me....
