Help!!!!

hello

not to long ago I had to default my apple tv 2gen and before that my remote had stopped working. We had just changed our modem and routers. So now after I restart the apple tv my apple remote app does not pick up the Apple TV anymore and I am at loss.. Any idea on how to get that fix if possible???
