Am I using my macbook pro 13" retina too much?

Hey, my name is Carlos and I recently bought a macbook pro retina 13" about two months ago. As a college student i use it EVERDAY. From a wide range of things including: Watching movies, listening to music, searching the web, writing papers, video editing, writing notes, downloading, uploading, writing music, FaceTime, and lots more. I use my mac for an estimate of 8 hrs a day and I take it with me everywhere. I have the stock version with 2.7 GHz core i5 processor and 8gb 1867 MHz DDR3 memory. I'm just wondering if I'm using my macbook too much? Although It seems to be handling the workload very well, a lot of money went into this computer and I would hate to over use it. Can it handle all of this? Should I "chill out" on how much I am using it?

Any responses are appreciated. Thanks in advance 🙂.
