Safari stopped working two days ago on my MacBook Pro (2014). My Mac was updated well before it stopped working, and my virus software can't detect any viruses. Help!

I need to figure out how to get Safari working again.

One possibility that springs to mind is that you've got a pop-up telling you that you have a virus, and asking you to call a phone number. If that's the case, this isn't actually a virus, it's just a scam website. For more information, and instructions on how to get rid of the message, see:
